\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe concept of Tidewave\u2122 and the unique Tidewave Hug was originally invented in the early 1990s by Audun Haugs, an engineer and inventor from Bergen, Norway.\n

After a request from Haukeland Hospital for a solution to prevent pressure ulcers, he got the idea to use one of his existing patents: a gripping tool for the oil industry. By turning the tool around, the concept and prototypes of a curved and automated reversible mattress were born. However, due to his sudden passing, the process was put on hold.\n

Little did he know that in 2017, his granddaughter, Elen Haugs Langvik, would bring the concept back to life together with two fellow students, Bj\u00f8rn Lorentzen and Nina Fagerheim \u00c5modt. A new company was formed, what is today Tidewave Medical.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
